SAFETY ON THE FARM

During your visit please remember that we are also a working farm with livestock and farm machinery. The majority of fencing around our fields is electrified and we also have an unfenced pond surrounded by rough terrain so we ask that you explore the grounds cautiously and with respect. The family will always be very happy to explain what we are growing and rearing at the moment so please feel free to ask questions.

DOGS

Dogs are welcome to stay but we do ask that you notify us in advance. There is an additional charge of £25 per dog (max 2) which will be payable on checkout along with any exceptional charges should your dog cause any damage to our property while on site. We ask you to please bring a dog bed with you and not to allow dogs on any furniture.

Although dogs are very welcome, we are a working farm and ask that dogs are kept on leads on the farm and to take particular care around livestock.

CHILDREN

Children must be supervised at all times whilst at Clavelshay Barn. There is a private garden and field for your use. We are a working farm and the farm is not designed for children. Parents or guardians must take full responsibility for their children’s behaviour and welfare while at Clavelshay and we cannot be accept any liability for damages or injury sustained whilst staying. Guests are liable to pay for any damages incurred to the property and may be required to pay a supplementary cleaning charge should the cottage be left in an unreasonable state on checkout.

LIABILITY

Clavelshay Barn accepts no responsibility for loss or damage of property, vehicles or vehicle contents belonging to guests during their occupancy. Nor we will be responsible for any indirect, consequential or pure economic loss or any loss of profit, whether caused by our negligence or the negligence of our employees, contractors or agents, excluding any liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
